The kitty in this icon says it all for me today. LOL. I just don't wanna work out...I don't wanna eat good....I don't wanna do much of anything but lay around being lazy today. It's too hot today and I am having the beginning of pms today so I just feel crappy and having some cramps and feel like crap. I wanna eat chocolate and have merlot and just be blah!! That's exactly how I feel right now.I am planning to start my detox diet and Recleanse kit on the 1st of September so I am just going to let today and tommorow go and get over this pms first and hopefully get some energy back to start my walking again. The thoughts of walking in this heat right now are so unappealing to me. I want to sit out in the sunshine and not do anything. I promised myself my posts here would be extremely honest about my weight and what I am feeling and doing in terms of exercise and diet. During bad days too...I plan to post about it and try to figure out where things are going wrong.
I am currently at 198 pounds. I'm not yet at my highest weight ever but getting closer and if I don't do anything about my weight soon...I'll get there by the end of the year I'm sure if I follow the path I did in the summer with a crappy diet and not walking. So it's time to get serious on Sept. 1st and start my detox diet and walking and my detox kit and getting sober for a month.
Long weekend is coming up and a fresh start on Saturday. I better enjoy these last two days before I get down to business and the new rules start and I will be getting focused on getting healthier.
May the force be with you.

Hi Padme :)
What a cute little kitty but boy does he look pouty! I feel like that sometimes too. I think you should splurge a little before starting all the changes; it will give you a chance to get it out of your system and really get serious. I know you can do this and I think you are really brave for admitting you need to make these changes.
Please be careful about exercising in the summer heat-- getting heat exhaustion isn't going to help you at all!
Big Hugs :)
I am sure you can do it, just remember to drink plenty of water.
I know what you mean, I'm about to start my period, plus I'm back at work after 2 weeks off, and I don't want to do anything!
Enjoy your last couple of summer days and psych yourself up for the healthiness that is to come!
We each have to find our own path. I find that if I don't make any food forbidden, I have better control over desire for it. It is when it is forbidden fruit that the cravings start. My current eating pattern has cut out a lot of salt, by accident, not on purpose, but the benefit has been much less pms trouble. I hope you get off to a good start on your new plan!
Hugs,
Kallisto
We can do it Padme! You know I'm pullin for ya and joining you with the Sober In September, as well as doing the cleanse! I'm planning to go pick mine up today in fact so it's ready to roll for this Sunday :D
Think of how healty and strong we'll be by the end of the month!
XOXO
Shasta
I was giggling...thinking that the force is rarely with a pms woman when she's crampy to do anything that might bring more discomfort...
But woe be to the person who irritates her...all of a sudden there's all sorts of energy to make corrections in their behavior. LOL!
boy do I identify....
Yannoo..The Native people in this country have a practice for women in their 'moontime' and that's to retreat and take care of themselves...for they are loosing life energy. The blood is life energy and that requires tlc and rest. It also requires a little more nutrition and so eating well with little tiny meals over the course of the whole day is what I find helps me get through it. I switch to 1/2 cup size meals four or five times a day for the two or three days my flow is heavy and I rest alot.
((hugs)) I know you'll feel better in a few days. Hang in there.
Thank you SA, Griz, good girl, kallisto, Shasta, and Greenwoman for your very supportive and wonderful comments. I was so surprised to come here and see so many comments this morning. :)
I honestly didn't think too many people would read this blog or comment. Thank you!
Yeah...periods are really a tough time for me. I bloat no matter what I eat and I always feel crappy and very low energy.
BIG HUGS to all of you
