Weigh in was late this week due to Thanksgiving. I was not looking forward to going on the scale after all the turkey and trimmings. I knew I did not eat very good this weekend but it was a holiday and I have a hard time saying no to pumpkin pie with whipped cream or eating lots of turkey with gravy. I stepped on the scale today and it still says 194. So I didn't gain any but I didn't lose any either. I think my walking every day saved my butt on the scales. I am still walking to and from the school so I get exercise with that. I also think that drinking lots of the loose tea has been good for me. I'm not drinking as much alcohol anymore. Instead of a glass of merlot before bed I am having a cup of coconut black tea. I love it and it unwinds me without the extra calories or alcohol. I did not get to my goal of 190 which I had for my birthday. My birthday is in a few days and I will not be dieting during my birthday weekend. It's too hard to diet and I am going out to eat at my favorite restaurant. I also plan to drink this weekend. I will eat clean until Saturday and then be back on Monday. I am only 4 pounds from my goal so I am going to keep on track and I know I can reach it if I don't give up.
It's been a hard journey but it's worth it and I am glad for this blog to be able to write out what's been happening. I need to post more here. I've been avoiding it lately because I knew my diet was not doing very well.
